Hope begins with being seen.

At In the Blink, we believe no one should have to navigate life after eye loss alone. We offer financial, emotional, and community-based support to individuals who have experienced vision loss and need a prosthetic eye. Through compassionate care and collective action, we’re not just helping people rebuild their lives; we’re helping them reclaim their sense of self.

Our Mission

"I founded In The Blink to offer the kind of support I wish I had in my own season of loss. My mission is to provide financial assistance for prosthetic eyes, connect individuals with trusted therapeutic resources, and create safe, compassionate spaces for healing after vision loss. I’m here to amplify real stories of resilience and remind others that it’s possible to move forward with dignity, hope, and connection."

Empowerment Via Lived Experience

This nonprofit was founded by someone who’s lived it. Our mission is shaped by real stories, real grief, and real healing. We center the needs and voices of those we support every step of the way.

Grief-Informed, Trauma-Aware

We know that trauma doesn’t come with a roadmap. Our work is rooted in meeting people where they are, offering gentle tools and resources that support the emotional realities of living with loss.

Connection Over Isolation

Isolation can be as painful as the loss itself. Through storytelling, community, and shared experiences, we remind people they don’t have to navigate this alone.
